No Comments Uncategorized

NEW YORK, NY – June 13, 2012 – On Wednesday, June 13, 2012, Defiant Entertainment is proud to announce that Long Island resident DJ Michael Fusco, 20, has become an official international DJ.

Fusco started his career DJing at parties and events while attending Garden City High School, where he graduated in 2010. Since then, he’s made his national TV debut on BET’s “106 and Park,” DJs for NBC Universal’s “The Jerry Springer Show,” “Maury” and “The Steve Wilkos Show” wrap parties, hosts his own weekly radio mix show, airing on WBCR AM 1090 and interns for the A&R department at Big Beat Records.

This past spring, Fusco made his international debut in Aruba at the Moomba Beach Bar and Gusto Night Club, spinning for 1000+ people. It made for a truly “concert-like” atmosphere.

Since then, Fusco signed with the NYC based PR & talent agency, Defiant Entertainment, in their music department and became the official DJ for Woovite, an online ticketing and event marketing service, providing services up and down the entire east coast.

Fusco prides himself on his ability to play to any crowd, in any music genre, such as House, Top 40, Hip Hop/R&B, Latin, Reggae, Disco/’70s and  Old School Dance Classics (‘80s &’90s).

“Music has become my life. I now spend every weekend performing and entertaining people,” says Fusco. “When I’m not at a live event, I’m mixing and creating new beats and mixes. When I’m not at the computer, I’m at events watching other DJ’s work their craft.”

Fusco has an extensive credit list, with venues mostly in the tri-state area. His most recent being: Pacha, Club Drom NYC, Grand, 84 Park, Episode, Black Lantern Audio Den, Vineyard 48, Epic/Four Food Studio and Salon, Amnesia, and Luckies/Power Plant Live in Baltimore.
